New Research Into Abusive Head Trauma

Abusive head trauma, also known as Shaken Baby Syndrome, is a potentially fatal form of child abuse and has been the subject of many different intervention and prevention programs or strategies over the years. In this research review, Dr. Bart Klika, our Chief Research and Strategy Officer, looks at some of the recent research into this topic, including studies showing contradictory results, and examines some of the reasons behind these differences as well as what prevention professionals can do in the future to combat abusive head trauma.
