SuEllen Fried was asked by Donna Stone, founder of Prevent Child Abuse America, to create the first Prevent Child Abuse America chapter, in Kansas, in 1976. Her work resulted in the model chapter that has since been replicated in 47 other states. Ms. Fried has demonstrated her passion and advocacy for children and bullying prevention through countless hours of work with youth and incarcerated men and women.

Ms. Fried is an American bullying prevention activist, writer, and educator. Throughout her career, she has authored three books about bullying, created programs to serve at-risk children and families, and worked with over 75,000 students, parents, educators, and professionals in 37 states.
