Irmes has dedicated over 18 years of her professional career to communications, public relations, and marketing across both for-profit and nonprofit sectors. She joined Prevent Child Abuse America as Senior Communications Manager in January 2023. In this role, she oversees multi-channel campaigns and brand governance, and provides high-level advisory support to national office, delivering technical assistance to state chapters, the HFA network, and national partners.
Prior to joining PCA America, Irmes served as Vice President of Communications and Programs at The Chamber of Medford & Jackson County, where she led organization-wide communication strategies to strengthen brand identity, broaden awareness of priorities, and increase visibility across B2B/B2C audiences—driving higher conversion rates, revenue growth, and stronger social engagement.
Irmes also had the privilege to serve as a Public Relations Consultant for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) where she led a cross-functional global team to plan and execute integrated communications advancing some of the UN’s 17 Goals. She managed end-to-end content production, media relations, and stakeholder outreach—securing press interviews, placing articles, and cultivating an international network of partners and media contacts.
Irmes holds an M.A. in Political Science from Northeastern Illinois University and a B.S. in Communications and International Relations. A lover of languages and cultures, she is a native French speaker and fluent in English and Italian. She proudly serves on the board of her foundation while contributing to other advocacy initiatives worldwide.
