Claudia Oviedo began her work with Healthy Families America in 2004 as a home visitor in Paterson, New Jersey. Through her direct work with families, she developed a strong commitment to relationship-based practices and supporting parents in creating safe, nurturing environment for their children. Over the years, Claudia moved into supervisory and leadership roles, where she focus on supporting staff, strengthening reflective practice, and promoting fidelity to the model. Claudia brings over 20 years of experience in the home visiting field, including providing training and technical assistance to HFA program across the county. Claudia is passionate about creating engaging learning spaces and supporting professionals in the important work they do with families. Claudia lives in Tennessee with her family and enjoys creating welcoming spaces at home and spending time with loved ones.
