Andy Berkhout joined Prevent Child Abuse America as a Quality Improvement Data Analyst in August 2021. He believes that all children and families should have the support and resources they need to be successful and thrive.

Prior to joining PCA America, Andy worked with the Data and Research team at St. Louis County Family Court and performed data analysis for the court’s work with the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI), racial and ethnic disparities reporting, and youth and adult community programs. He has previously worked in data and quality-related roles that focused on mental health services and homelessness. Andy also has prior experience providing direct mental health, substance use, and conflict resolution services to youth, families, and adults in residential and community-based settings.

Andy holds a Master of Social Work degree with a mental health concentration from Washington University in St. Louis and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). He received a bachelor’s degree in Social Welfare and Justice and Writing-Intensive English from Marquette University. Outside of his work with PCA America, Andy enjoys running, playing music, and hiking with his dog. Andy lives with his wife and daughter in Wisconsin.
