Annual Reports
In 2015 we expanded our Big Pinwheel Garden event to our nation’s capital, bringing the issue of child abuse and neglect prevention to the footsteps of our policymakers. Our Healthy Families America home-visiting program was the subject of two more studies, in Oregon and Massachusetts, demonstrating the efficacy of the program in helping to improve the lives of children and families.
This research shows that Americans do not see each other (or themselves) accurately when it comes to issues of child abuse and neglect. By closing misperception gaps it is possible to change and improve actual behavioral and attitudinal norms.
