Family Snapshot Surveys: Caregiving in the Context of COVID-19

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Prevent Child Abuse America (PCA America), and Tufts Medical Center, surveyed 9,000 caregivers to understand the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on family life, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and positive childhood experiences. The project team conducted three rounds of the survey with 3,000 participants in November 2020, March 2021, and July 2021. More information on the development of the Family Snapshot Surveys can be found here.
