Annual Reports
Prevent Child Abuse America responded to COVID-19’s challenges head-on. We’re tremendously proud of these achievements and the collaborations—new and ongoing—that made them possible. Our entire staff, Board of Directors, state chapters, HFA affiliates, and numerous partners worked diligently and passionately this year to cultivate hope for children and families despite the many challenges. Read more about what we accomplished in our 2020 digital annual report.
Annual Reports
In large part because of our many accomplishments in 2019, Prevent Child Abuse America has continued to work throughout the COVID-19 crisis to ensure the safe, stable, and nurturing relationships and environments that enable children and communities to thrive. In this, our first digital annual report, you will find more information about these achievements, which help to lay the foundation for our vision: a world where all children grow up happy, healthy, and prepared to succeed.
Annual Reports
In 2018 we developed groundbreaking research addressing social norms, raised awareness for child well-being programs through our efforts in the reauthorization of the federal MIECHV (Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting) legislation, established a new chapter in Washington, DC, and expanded our Healthy Families America program internationally to Israel.
Annual Reports
In 2017 we completed the second year of our Quantum Leap strategy, which helps us effectively and efficiently reach more children and families than we ever dreamed possible.
Annual Reports
2016 was full of activity, growth, innovation and transformation. We are now poised to reach new heights as an organization with the resources needed to help transform the way Americans think about child abuse and neglect.
Annual Reports
In 2015 we expanded our Big Pinwheel Garden event to our nation’s capital, bringing the issue of child abuse and neglect prevention to the footsteps of our policymakers. Our Healthy Families America home-visiting program was the subject of two more studies, in Oregon and Massachusetts, demonstrating the efficacy of the program in helping to improve the lives of children and families.
