Prevent Child Abuse New Jersey Board of Directors Announces Retirement of Executive Director, Rush L. Russell

With deep gratitude for his leadership and vision, the board of directors of Prevent Child Abuse New Jersey (PCA New Jersey) announced that the nonprofit organization’s executive director, Rush L. Russell (pictured below), will retire on April 2, 2021.  Mr. Russell’s decision to retire will bring to a close a remarkable 12 years of service to PCA New Jersey.

Prevent Child Abuse America Awarded $500K to Focus on Child and Family Well-being through Prevention and Equity

Chicago—Prevent Child Abuse America (PCA America) announced today a $500,000 grant to support efforts that reduce the need for families to become involved with child protection agencies. The award will fund work advancing Thriving Families, Safer Children: A National Commitment to Well-being, an initiative that aims to reshape child welfare in the United States by focusing explicitly on equity and prevention across development, proactively creating the conditions and contexts for strong families and communities across the country.

Prevent Child Abuse America Welcomes Jennifer Jones as Its New Chief Strategy Officer
