Kiersten Sutton serves as the Special Projects Manager in the strategy department at PCA America. In her role, she provides project leadership in cross-sector national partnerships, including Thriving Families, Safer Children, focused on supporting communities and lived experts in developing approaches focused on child and family well-being. Additionally, she collaborates with PCA America staff across departments, as well as with the network, partners, and individuals with lived experience, to plan and implement other projects relative to race equity, equitable access to services, and economic and concrete supports; develops communication and correspondence across networks; and coordinates events.
Irmes has dedicated over 16 years of her professional career in communications, public relations, and marketing; both in the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. She joined Prevent Child Abuse America as Senior Communications Manager in January 2023. In this role, she provides support to the Prevent Child Abuse America national office as well as technical assistance on matters pertaining to marketing and communications to the state chapters, Healthy Families America networks, and other national partners.

With nearly 20 years of journalism, marketing and communication experience, Gelasia Croom joined Prevent Child Abuse America as Chief Communications Officer in April 2022. In this role she works to serve families by creating visibility for the agency’s programming, fundraising and advocacy work.
Jennifer Jones joined Prevent Child Abuse America as Chief Strategy Officer in February 2021. Previously, she served as the director of the Change in Mind Institute and the co-director for Safety and Resilience for the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities. At the Change in Mind Institute, Jones helped to advance a common understanding of the core story of brain development and integrate this knowledge into the social and public services sectors. She led all aspects of the institute, including recently raising $1.7 million for the Texas Change in Mind Learning Collaborative and National Impact Study. Jones also served as the project director of the Child Safety Forward Initiative, a three-year Department of Justice cooperative agreement working with five jurisdictions to develop community-led, systematic solutions to reduce child fatalities caused by child maltreatment.
