Frequently Asked Questions About Giving

Yes. Donations to Prevent Child Abuse America are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

Immediately after you complete your transaction online, you will receive an email from Prevent Child Abuse America containing a receipt for your donation that can be used for tax purposes.

If you give through check, ACH, or stock, you will receive a letter in the mail with the appropriate tax information.

Yes. Enter your donation amount on our donation page and select “give a gift in honor of someone” to customize and send your tribute gift.

We send all acknowledgements for mailed donations via mail unless requested otherwise. You should receive your letter about two weeks after you send your donation. If you have an urgent need for acknowledgement, please include a note with your donation to email or call you as soon as it is received.

Yes! If you donate online, a message is automatically sent to the contact whose email address you provided. This email address is not saved in our records. If you are donating via mail, we will happily send an email or letter to your honoree or their contact. Please make sure to include their contact information.

Yes! We can take donations from your organization on our online form. Please submit your information as you see fit and then contact us at dbialoruski@preventchildabuse.org so that we can make sure we are properly attributing your gift. We can re-issue an acknowledgement email or letter if needed.
