Key Issue Areas
Participates in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) prevention efforts with the program Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences (HOPE).
Leads in Neglect prevention efforts.
Utilizing the Protective Factors Framework through ACEs, Advocacy, and Home Visiting.
The chapter works with the following evidence-based home visiting models: Family Connect, Healthy Families America (HFA), and Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) and participates in the statewide home visiting coalition.
Advocacy efforts include
- Strengthen Investments in Proven Strategies that Prevent Abuse and Keep Families Together
- Increase Transparency, Accountability and Effectiveness in Child Protection Systems
