Key Issue Areas

Co-lead in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) prevention efforts with the program ACE Interface.

Participate in Neglect prevention efforts.

Participate in Corporal Punishment (CP) prevention efforts.

Utilizing the Protective Factors Framework through ACEs, Advocacy, Home Visiting, and Training.

The chapter participates in the statewide home visiting coalition.

Advocacy efforts include

  • Funding for Child Abuse Prevention Services
  • Education around Child Physical and Sexual Abuse
  • Economic Supports for Families
