Leads in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) prevention efforts and served 32,669 individuals in 2020 with the programs Connections Matter, Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences (HOPE), and State Coalition on ACEs.
Participates in Neglect prevention efforts.
Leads in Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) prevention efforts and served 799 individuals in 2020 with the program Stewards of Children (Darkness to Light).
Utilizing the Protective Factors Framework through ACEs, Advocacy, Home Visiting, and Training.
The chapter works with the following evidence-based home visiting models: Early Head Start (Home Visiting), Healthy Families America (HFA), and Triple P and participates in the statewide home visiting coalition.
Advocacy efforts include
- Corporate Tax Credits for Child Care
- Education on the Importance of supporting Family Friendly Work Policies
- Providing updates on TANF funded Healthy Families
