Through a zip code search, the site provides information on local food or housing programs, goods and transit aid, health and care services, financial help, education and work programs, and legal services. The information about providers and services included in this resource directory does not constitute an endorsement on the part of Prevent Child Abuse America. Non-profit organizations or local, state, or federally funded agencies that provide free or reduced cost services to individuals and families. Findhelp provides an array of services including food, housing, goods (e.g., diapers and formula), transit, health, money, care, education, work, and legal resources.

Does findhelp cost me money to use?

No. Findhelp is a free, open access search connecting people to social services. However, if organizations are interested in a premium version of the platform— which includes advanced features such as a personalized system of records, premium reporting, and dedicated support— they can purchase a subscription. Subscription information and pricing are located on findhelp’s website.

Does findhelp charge me to be listed as an agency?

No. Any program or social service provider can be listed within the findhelp platform at no cost to the organization. To suggest a program, complete their online form

Are the resources listed on the findhelp site up to date?

Yes. Findhelp maintains and verifies all resources on the platform. The findhelp team verifies programs/services every 6 months by contacting the providers directly. Additionally, they use the “claim your program” function on their website to supplement their verification process. More information can be found here.

If someone from out of state contacts me looking for services, will I be able to search for their local programs?

Yes. Findhelp is a nationwide online directory where individuals can find specific services/programs using a zip code search.

What languages are resources provided in?

The findhelp search page can be translated into 90+ languages. Additionally, the program search can be filtered through demographic information, including language.
