Our mission is to provide resources and training to make certain that every child in Delaware has a safe and nurturing childhood, free from abuse and neglect.

Key Issue Areas

Participates in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) prevention efforts.

Co-lead in Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) prevention efforts with the program Stewards of Children (Darkness to Light).

Utilizing the Protective Factors Framework through Advocacy, Evaluation, Home Visiting, and Training.

Implementing the Essentials for Childhood Framework strategies: Norms Change and Programs.

The chapter works with the following evidence-based home visiting models: Early Head Start (Home Visiting), Healthy Families America (HFA), Nurse Family Partnership (NFP), and Parents as Teachers (PAT) and participates in the statewide home visiting coalition.
