Paula Mattison, a bilingual marketing professional, has diversified experience in nonprofit and community development, project management, and digital marketing strategy, both domestically and abroad. Prior to working at Prevent Child Abuse America, she amplified the fundraising and marketing efforts for North Side Housing and Supportive Services, bringing funding and awareness to their mission to end homelessness in Chicago.

As a Southern California native, she received her BA in European Studies and Spanish from UCLA and an MBA from Chapman University. In both courses of study, she participated in various study abroad programs, to Spain, Sweden, Finland, and Czech Republic that infused a global lens to her approach to all projects. After graduating with her MBA, she decided to utilize her business acumen as a Community Economic Development Specialist for the Peace Corps, in a rural village in the Andes Mountains of Peru, for over two years. That time spent in grassroots community development solidified her path of blending business and public service within the nonprofit industry—and in her current role as Marketing and Communications Manager at PCA America.
