Olivia Padilla holds a BA in English Writing from Illinois Wesleyan University. Her studies often focused on creative writing and ultimately led to multiple publications in her university’s literary magazine, IWU Tributaries, and an Honorable Mention from the Academy of American Poets’ Arthur W. Hinners & Louise Hinners Stipfle Prize.

During her time at Illinois Wesleyan, she was also heavily involved in her sorority, Kappa Delta, and served as Vice President of Membership and President of the 80+ chapter membership. Through Kappa Delta’s partnership with Prevent Child Abuse America, she discovered her interest for the organization and confirmed her desire to continue working in the nonprofit field following graduation. Olivia has served as a Marketing Intern at Prevent Child Abuse America and as a Marketing and Public Relations Intern at YWCA McLean County before officially joining the team at Prevent Child Abuse America as a Marketing & Communications Associate.
