Kerrie brings a history of strong financial management in both for-profit and non-profit organizations, focusing on the financial strength and compliance of the organization. She thrives on strategizing new directions and creating the financial strategies to effectively implement them.

Before joining Prevent Child Abuse America, she was the Vice President of Finance at the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, supporting that organization in expanding its research and programmatic impact. Her experience also includes management positions at Lifeline Scientific Inc. and Pennant Foods after starting out her career in public accounting. Kerrie is a CPA in Illinois, and she holds a BS in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and sits on the Finance Committee of a local Boys and Girls Club.

Kerrie believes in giving back to the community and has been an active volunteer for over 20 years. She is very interested in the growth and development of happy and well-balanced children and was a steady volunteer with the school system and extra curriculars while her children were growing up.
