Small Steps Can Make a Big Difference during Child Abuse Prevention Month 2019
CAN MAKE A
This April, you can help
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and there’s a role for everyone in the community. You can help prevent child abuse and neglect by helping parents be the best moms and dads they can be.
Everyone can get involved to make sure kids have more caring adults in their lives. Coach a local rec league, babysit for a neighbor or volunteer at a local prevention program. Even one hour a week can make a huge difference!
Your voice can make a difference—from local government all the way to Washington, D.C.—when you speak up for policies, legislation and programs that promote healthy families.
We’re proud to be rated one of the top charities for children by Consumer Reports. 94 cents of every dollar spent goes directly to programs such as Healthy Families America® that help children and families thrive.
