Celebrating with Sigma Delta Tau at their Centennial Celebration

For more than thirty years, Prevent Child Abuse America has been lucky to be the non-profit partner of Sigma Delta Tau sorority. These women have supported our mission through fundraising and awareness events, advocacy pushes and more, so we were thrilled to support them at their recent Centennial Celebration.

Dan Duffy, our President and CEO, and SuEllen Fried, SDT Alumna and PCA America Lifetime Board Member, joined thousands of past and present SDT women at their Centennial Celebration in New York City.

Dan and SuEllen had the opportunity to meet and congratulate sisters from the Eta chapter at the University of Georgia who were recognized for being the chapter with the largest fundraising event. The sisters of Eta chapter raised more than $100,000 at their Greek Grind event!

Dan and SuEllen spoke to hundreds of SDT women about how their contributions help drive our mission to prevent the abuse and neglect of neglect of our nation’s children, and the ways that they can further get involved in prevention. SDT is all about empowering women, and in doing so these women empower the next generation of American leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs.

We love Sigma Delta Tau! Since 1982, we have been the lucky partner organization to this amazing group of women and are grateful for their many contributions over the course of our partnership. We were honored to have played a part in their Centennial Celebration. Here’s to another 100 years, SDT!
